About Ramsey Road Runners
Ramsey Road Runners was formally established in 1982 after a small group of friends had begun running together. Its history names original chairman David Wallwork and Adrian Graham among the founders. The Ramsey, Cambridgeshire, England, club has built a team-running tradition through the Friendly Frostbite League and events such as the Greenwheel, Hereward and Round Norfolk relays.
Senior sessions meet on Wednesday evenings at 7.15pm at One Leisure, within the Abbey College grounds. The programme alternates sociable runs with hills, efforts and fartlek, using different routes and surfaces as weather and daylight change. Juniors have a separate earlier Wednesday session, supervised by the club's accredited coaches.
