About Rainford Runners and Multi Sport (RRAMS)
Rainford Runners and Multisport, usually shortened to RRAMS, grew from local runners and multisport enthusiasts wanting company for their training. Based around Rainford near St Helens, England, the club welcomes beginners as well as people preparing for races. Running, swimming and cycling sit alongside transition practice and other preparation for triathlon.
The programme uses several venues rather than one clubhouse: running starts include Rainford Village Hall and the Scout Hut car park, pool sessions use Edge Hill University, and seasonal open-water swimming takes place at Carr Mill Dam. Members arrange group cycle rides, often with a coffee stop, while indoor cycling and strength sessions supplement the winter programme.
