About Radcliffe AC
Radcliffe Athletic Club marked its fortieth anniversary in 2024. Serving Radcliffe in Greater Manchester, England, it was established to help local people enjoy running, improve together and take part in races if they wished. Social running remains part of the club alongside competitive outings and its own hosted events.
The club now meets at Bury Livingwaters Church on Dumers Lane. Monday groups offer different distances for runners aged sixteen and over, while Wednesday training alternates between hills from the club base and sessions at Bury Track on Market Street. Strength and conditioning adds another option. Juniors aged eight to sixteen have a separate Monday group.
New members are normally invited to try the club for two weeks. The beginner running session still assumes an ability to run around two to three miles, so contact membership if starting from scratch. Arrive early on a first visit for sign-in, and confirm that week's venue before travelling, particularly for Wednesday track sessions.
