About Queens Park Harriers

Queen's Park Harriers was founded in 1887 and is now based at Willesden Sports Centre in north-west London, England. Its red-and-white Danebury hoops reflect a long club tradition: president Tom Cannon presented those colours in 1902–03. The club's history includes international athletes such as Olympic relay medallist Eddie Toms and long jumper Alan Lerwill.

Today's programme combines Tuesday and Thursday evening track sessions with Sunday long runs, social running and optional races. Members take part in summer road events and winter cross country. The club's own Liddiard Trophy commemorates founder E. J. Liddiard; the first competition was won in 1947.

Adults can request a free taster through the contact form before completing membership registration. Junior enquiries have a separate email contact and should follow the junior programme's arrangements. Different sessions serve different goals, from finding confidence as a new runner to preparing for competition, while social events provide opportunities to meet outside training.
