About Preston Harriers

The Lancashire club now covers road running, cross-country, fell running, track and field and sportshall athletics, with groups for younger athletes, seniors and masters. Track sessions use the university sports arena.

The club’s international athletes have included Helen Clitheroe, John Nuttall, Steve Tunstall and Steve Smith. Clitheroe won the European indoor 3000m title in Paris in 2011.
