About Portsmouth Triathletes
Portsmouth Triathletes was established in 1988 and serves the Portsmouth area of Hampshire, England. Swimming, cycling and running share the programme, with both coached sessions and informal outings. Beginners and experienced competitors are welcome; the club's practical activities include transition practice, small training events and parkrun volunteering.
Summer sea swims are a distinctive part of club life. The club describes beach-watch and kayak support, access to its beach hut when a keyholder opens it, and time for refreshments afterwards. These are organised sessions, not an invitation to arrive for an unsupervised swim. Consult the current calendar and swimming contact for arrangements.
Joining and renewals are handled through Connect My Club. Separate public contacts cover membership, general enquiries, coaching and swimming. Members also use the club forum to arrange training partners and socials. Session venues vary, so the directory's Queen Elizabeth Country Park address should not be treated as the start of every activity.
