About Pocklington Runners
Pocklington Runners is based in Pocklington in the East Riding of Yorkshire, England. The club brings together people who want to run socially and those interested in competition, using roads and trails around the Yorkshire Wolds. Its Wednesday club nights start from Pocklington Rugby Club at Feathers Field on Burnby Lane.
Adults considering membership are invited to join a couple of Wednesday runs before deciding. The club offers social and competitive membership routes, with organised training nights and opportunities to discover local races. The membership secretary handles questions about joining and the application form.
A separate junior route caters for ages twelve to seventeen, with enquiries directed to the junior contact rather than assuming adult club runs are suitable. The club's public contact page confirms the rugby-club location and a general enquiry email. York is the wider postal reference in the directory, not the club's town.
