About Plymouth Striders
Plymouth Striders Running Club is based in North Plymouth, Devon, England. Its emphasis is on sociable road and trail running, with routes around Woolwell, Plymbridge, Bickleigh, Roborough Down and neighbouring districts. Returning runners, steady joggers and people preparing for races share the same club, with no requirement to compete.
Monday evening is the regular meeting at the Woolwell Community Centre car park on Darklake Lane. Thursday runs depend on interest and must be checked in advance. Groups are matched to runners' pace and preferred terrain, rather than expecting everyone to cover the same route at the same speed.
Prospective members can complete the trial form and attend a couple of free runs before deciding whether to join. The club publishes a general enquiry email and its own social accounts. Website-platform social links are not club accounts, and the current programme supports running rather than the older triathlon classification.
