About Plymouth Harriers
Plymouth Harriers began as Keyham Plodders in 1983 and adopted its present name in 1996. Based in Plymouth, Devon, England, it welcomes runners with different levels of experience, from first-time club members to people working towards a particular race. It is a member of the Armada Athletics Network and is distinct from City of Plymouth Athletic Club.
The current programme includes Tuesday intervals near the Life Centre, Wednesday group runs from Central Park Community Sports Hub and Saturday track sessions at Brickfields in Foulston Park. Wednesday routes vary in distance and pace, with tea and biscuits afterwards; coach Leigh Robinson leads the published interval and track sessions.
Newcomers can try four runs before deciding whether to join. The new-members secretary handles questions, while the membership secretary receives completed applications. Confirm the appropriate session before attending rather than using the older Mayflower Drive directory address as a training destination.
