About Phoenix Flyers AC

Phoenix Flyers Athletics Club serves Durham and surrounding County Durham communities in England. Its programme focuses on track and field, combining athletic development with fitness, enjoyment and sportsmanship. The club welcomes both athletes who want to compete and those who primarily want to train in a supportive environment.

Tuesday and Thursday evening groups cater for athletes from eight years old. Training usually meets beside the running track at Framwellgate School Durham, with access to facilities at New College Durham as well. Places depend on coaching capacity, so athletes must book through Spond and check notifications for venue changes.

The club asks newcomers to use its monitored Facebook group or email contact. Its contact page displays phoenixflyersathletics@gmail.com, although the underlying email link points to the older info address; use the displayed address or Facebook if unsure. A founding date and named historical athletes have not been established.
