About Pewsey Vale RC
Pewsey Vale Running Club began in 1987 when seven friends started entering local races. Based in Pewsey, Wiltshire, England, it has retained a strong connection with the surrounding countryside. Its Terminator event is a demanding twelve-mile trail race through the Vale, and the club records charitable donations from race funds stretching back to 1998.
Tuesday runs meet at the Vale Community Campus. Groups cover different distances, using local roads during darker months and heading onto hillier trails in summer, with regrouping to keep runners together. A monthly five-kilometre handicap time trial rewards improvement rather than simply the fastest finish.
Prospective members can contact the club or try a club night. Runners looking for a shorter beginner programme are directed to the separate Pewsey Plodders group. Confirm the time-trial date directly: the club's pages disagree over which Thursday of the month it takes place.
