About Paddock Wood AC
Paddock Wood Athletic Club was formed in 1986 by local families seeking more activities for children in Paddock Wood, Kent, England. It retains that family emphasis while offering athletics from age eight through to senior and veteran participation. The club also organises the Paddock Wood Half Marathon and children's Startrack activities.
Tuesday and Thursday evenings are the main training sessions. Junior programmes move between winter Sportshall and cross country and summer track and field, while adults have road, track and seasonal off-road options. Putlands' all-weather track and Mascalls Academy feature in the club's training information.
New members can arrange a month-long trial, but the current website says junior places are full and a waiting list is operating. Email the club before attending, including a child's age and preferred days where relevant. Confirm the exact meeting point and parking: official pages describe different Mascalls and Putlands arrangements, and older fee tables should not be treated as current.
