About Olympian Triathlon Club
Olympian Triathlon Club was formed in 1984 in Belfast, Northern Ireland, during the sport's early years in Ireland. Its programme brings together new triathletes, experienced competitors and members who train for enjoyment without racing. Coached pool swimming and indoor cycling use Olympia Leisure Centre, while running sessions take place at Mary Peters' Track. A spring and summer cycling time-trial league adds another way to take part.
The club offers up to three taster sessions by arrangement through its contact form. Membership options distinguish swimmers, non-swimmers and students, and members are required to hold a valid Triathlon Ireland licence. Its history remembers early member Kevin Morgan for his racing, coaching and work introducing schoolchildren to triathlon. Use the current olympiantriathlon.com website for enquiries: the former olympiantriclub.co.uk address no longer displays club information.
