About Olney Runners AC
Olney Runners is a volunteer-run club serving Olney and nearby Buckinghamshire villages in England. Its programme brings together people new to running and experienced competitors, with coaching, social outings and a separate junior section. Members take part in events ranging from parkruns and 5Ks to cross-country, fell races and ultramarathons.
Wednesday club sessions meet in Olney Market Place and use local roads, parks and countryside paths. The programme also includes fortnightly Monday track sessions at Stantonbury in Milton Keynes, strength-and-stretch work and conversational social runs. Members use Spond to book and check session details.
Newcomers submit their details before a taster so the club can help them choose a suitable group. Ordinary adult sessions are eighteen-plus; younger athletes have their own joining route. Social events and charity fundraising are part of club life, including a July 2026 running day at Emberton Park that raised more than six hundred pounds for Al's Pals.
