About Norwich Road Runners
Norwich Road Runners grew from small groups running together in the early 1980s. Some first raced as Fitt Signs and then Midnight Runners; the Norwich Road Runners name was adopted around 1983–84, and the club became affiliated in 1985. Its history records six founders who brought those early groups together.
Today the club meets at Sewell Park Academy on Constitution Hill. Its adult programme includes easier runs, coached interval sessions and road runs divided by pace, while the junior section caters for ages eight to 16. Membership and taster enquiries have their own route on the club website. Junior places may be limited, so families should obtain an offer before completing registration.
