About Northwest TC
North West Triathlon Club, listed in the directory as Northwest TC, is based in Derry, Northern Ireland. Triathlon Ireland lists it as a club with a junior section as well as adult activity. Swimming, cycling and running are the core sports, with the club’s public enquiry contact providing a starting point for membership and training questions.
The club hosted the City of Derry Triathlon programme on 5 September 2026. Racing brought a sold-out age-group field together with Europe Triathlon Cup and Junior Cup competitions, using the River Foyle, city quays, Peace Bridge and Ebrington Square. The organiser’s report records the contribution of local volunteers and the return of international triathlon to the city after 2017.
That event is a substantial part of the club’s public contribution, but its city-centre race facilities are not presented as a permanent training base. Prospective adult and junior members should contact the club for the current programme, available places and safeguarding arrangements before attending a session.
