About Northowram Pumas Running Club
Northowram Pumas Running Club began in September 2014 in Northowram, near Halifax in West Yorkshire, England. What started as a small Wednesday running group developed into a club organising its own events and supporting members' running goals.
The club's public England Athletics page lists Monday and Wednesday evenings as its principal club nights, meeting at Northowram Cricket Club on Westercroft Lane. Groups span a range of paces, from roughly seven-minute to thirteen-minute miles, with a separate development group. This gives prospective members a practical way to discuss where they would fit rather than relying only on an all-abilities description.
New runners can email the club for guidance or ask about joining at a club night. Confirm the session and group before a first visit, particularly if returning after a break. The development group offers a distinct point of enquiry alongside the numbered pace groups, so there is no need to guess which session would be suitable.
