About Northenden Runners
Listed here as Northenden Runners, the club introduces itself as Wythenshawe & Northenden Runners on its England Athletics club page. It serves the Wythenshawe and Northenden area of Manchester, England, with an emphasis on sociable running and listening to members' goals.
Its introductory programme centres on a Thursday evening social run. The club also describes ambitions for speed work, Couch to 5K and longer Sunday outings, rather than publishing those as an established weekly timetable. Prospective runners should check which sessions are currently available before attending.
Community involvement is part of the club's stated purpose, through supporting local businesses, volunteering and a good-causes fund receiving twenty per cent of membership fees. Members choose the beneficiaries. The existing Northenden listing is retained rather than creating a second club under the fuller name; use the official club page and linked Instagram account to check current arrangements.
