About North Staffs RR Association
North Staffordshire Road Runners Association was established in July 1974 to promote road running in North Staffordshire, England. Its principal activity is a league drawing on selected local races, bringing runners from the area's clubs into a shared competition.
Members compete in ability-based groups and age categories. The published format selects twenty races, with a runner's best twelve performances counting towards the league. Participants can run fewer events, although award eligibility has separate minimum-participation rules. Check the current season's regulations rather than assuming every race is compulsory.
New entrants and renewing members use separate application routes. The contact page also distinguishes the association membership secretary from the first-claim membership contact, an important difference for runners who already belong to another club. This is a regional racing network; its directory contact address should not be treated as a regular training meeting point.
