About North Somerset AC
North Somerset Athletic Club was founded in 2004 by head coach Chris Millard in North Somerset, England. It combines a substantial junior programme with adult membership, providing routes into track and field, cross-country, road races and relays.
Its compact athletics facility at Clevedon School developed in phases completed in 2015 and 2017, with solar lighting added in 2022. Training also extends beyond Clevedon, including the Weston-super-Mare area. The club's history records a national development-club award in 2011 and the launch that year of its 24-hour Pier Relay fundraising event.
Junior newcomers begin with a free trial, while adults can enquire through the contact page. Volunteer coaches, officials and helpers support the sessions and competitions. The club has posted a warning about problems with its enquiry form and supplies a direct email alternative, so use that route if a submitted enquiry has gone unanswered.
