About North Bolton Runners
North Bolton Runners began with community messages and Tuesday trail runs in June 2017 in Bolton, Greater Manchester, England. Monday outings followed, and an April 2018 meeting in Egerton brought the activities together under the club name. Athletics affiliation followed in January 2019.
The weekly programme includes Monday road runs from Dunscar War Memorial, Tuesday trails from the Railway pub in Bromley Cross, a coached Wednesday session at Bradshaw Meadows and an early Friday run. Shorter social groups include walking breaks, while other groups offer longer outings with support from run leaders.
Organised runs are free, and newcomers can try one without buying membership. Introduce yourself to a leader in an orange top and check the latest route information. Optional club membership supports insurance and leader training and offers access to club competition and other benefits; confirm the current membership year before paying.
