About Newton Abbot AC
Newton Abbot Athletic Club was established in 1893 in Newton Abbot, Devon, England. It offers training and competition for juniors from eight years old and older athletes, covering track and field, cross-country and sportshall athletics.
Summer training takes place at Forches Cross playing fields. Younger juniors begin together, while older athletes can work in event groups such as sprints or jumps. In winter, junior indoor sessions move to Teign School and older athletes combine school-based training with outdoor road sessions.
Prospective members can contact the club to find an appropriate age group and complete the published membership form. The training page still contains an older fee example, so confirm current costs and times directly rather than relying on that figure. Teign School is a seasonal training venue, not the location of every session throughout the year.
