About Newcastle Staffs AC
Newcastle (Staffs) Athletic Club was founded in 1964 in Staffordshire, England. It welcomes runners and athletes with different ambitions, from getting started to competing for a team, and offers junior participation from eight years old.
The club is based on Ashfields New Road in Newcastle-under-Lyme, where a floodlit track and athletics equipment support coached sessions. Changing rooms, showers and a clubhouse café make it possible to stay after training and meet people from other groups. Many track and junior groups train on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Beginners can ask about the Couch to 5K programme, while more experienced runners can discuss a suitable group with the coaches. The club's event programme includes the Newcastle 10K and Dales Dash. Use the committee enquiry address before a first visit; the Newcastle-under-Lyme clubhouse is distinct from the former Stoke-on-Trent directory address.
