About New Forest Runners
New Forest Runners was formed in September 1981 to encourage running for enjoyment and fitness. Based at Fawcetts Field in New Milton, Hampshire, England, the club has access to a grass track and trim trail as well as the open routes of the New Forest.
Wilverley Plain is a principal forest meeting point, while evening training changes with the seasons. The daytime Mudlarks meet for sociable runs and coffee, and Sunday groups tackle longer routes. Coaching, Couch to Club Runner courses and local race leagues provide different ways to participate.
The club organises events including the New Forest 10 and relies on members helping with tasks such as marshalling. Prospective members can enquire about trying a session before joining.
