About Mornington Chasers

Mornington Chasers was formed on 2 December 1986 at the Working Men's College on Crowndale Road in Camden, London, England. The club now brings runners together around Kentish Town, with Tuesday outings from Talacre Community Sports Centre and coached Thursday sessions at Parliament Hill Track.

Members take part in road, trail, track and cross-country events, including the Metropolitan League and the club's Regent's Park 10K. Tuesday tea and biscuits, monthly pub nights and volunteer-led activities give the programme a social side beyond racing.

Regular sessions are intended for people who can already run five kilometres continuously; a separate beginners programme supports those working towards that point. Obtain temporary membership before a first ordinary club visit and use the current joining page for the terms. Sunday runs and other informal outings are arranged through the members' calendar, often only shortly beforehand.
