About Midleton Cycling and Triathlon Club
Midleton Cycling & Triathlon Club took its present form in 2009, replacing Midleton Cycling Club, which had begun in 1968 as part of Midleton Athletic Club. That history connects the club’s cycling section with its newer swim, bike and run activities. Routes around East Cork offer both flatter riding and hills close to the town.
Club rides normally start outside Midleton Courthouse, with groups organised for different abilities and ride lengths. The programme also includes pool and open-water swimming, group running and indoor cycling. Newcomers are encouraged to build their confidence through suitable groups; prospective members should check the current ride notice and contact the club before their first outing.
