About Midland TC
Midland Triathlon Club was established in 2006 in Mullingar, County Westmeath, Ireland. It welcomes newcomers alongside athletes preparing for longer triathlons, with participation and support for new members central to its published club history.
Its junior section introduces the skills that combine the three sports, including transitions and open-water swimming. The club also signposts swimming, cycling and running opportunities with Mullingar Jets, Lakeside Wheelers and Mullingar Harriers. Membership of those separate clubs is not a prerequisite for joining MTC Juniors.
The 2026 membership page directs applicants through Triathlon Ireland for both national and club membership. Training guidance allows three guest sessions, with coached swimming booked in advance and coached runs managed through Spond. The winter timetable is marked under construction and junior fee information is older, so confirm current sessions, places and trial arrangements with the club.
