About Marsden Racers
Marsden Racers started in 2014 in Marsden, near Huddersfield in West Yorkshire, England. Running and cycling are its two central activities, with sociability as important as training. The club describes support for beginners as well as people working towards ultras and long-distance triathlon.
Trail runs explore the Colne Valley landscape, while cycling includes road and mountain-bike activity. The club states affiliations to England Athletics and British Cycling. Its published winter programme includes beginner running and longer trail groups with different pace options, alongside social cycling.
Prospective members can ask about a free trial through the club email or contact form. The timetable panel is labelled winter 2025, so confirm current meeting places and equipment before attending. Hemplow Grounds is the published club base, but the listed running sessions start at Marsden Mechanics and cycling arrangements are shared separately.
