About March AC
March Athletic Club was formed on 24 May 1976 in March, Cambridgeshire, England. Its early membership was predominantly children, with adult distance running growing after the first London Marathon. Several moves followed, including a period as March Braza AC, before the club settled at Elm Road Sports Field in October 2009.
Tuesday training concentrates on faster efforts, while Thursday group runs use different distances and staggered starts so runners can finish and socialise together. Junior activity also takes place on Thursdays. Road racing, cross-country, the Summer Run and Hereward Relay sit alongside running simply for fitness.
The club welcomes prospective members to enquire through its membership secretary and provides an application form. Changing, showering and refreshments are available at the sports field. The membership notice retrieved still refers to 2025/26, so confirm the current fee and junior arrangements rather than relying on an older form.
