About Manx Harriers
Manx Harriers was formed in 1991 when Boundary Harriers and Manx AC merged. The opening of the all-weather track at the National Sports Centre in Douglas helped bring the clubs together, giving them a shared base and the chance to pool coaching and volunteer resources. The clubhouse remains at the NSC.
The club covers track and field, road running, cross-country, trail running and race walking, with members also travelling to competitions off the island. Volunteers organise major local fixtures including the Parish Walk and Easter Festival of Running. Its hall of fame reflects that range, recording international runners and race walkers as well as the people who have supported Manx athletics over many years.
