About Maltby Running Club
Maltby Running Club is a community running club in the Rotherham area of South Yorkshire, England. Its own account traces its running history to 1983. The emphasis is on enjoyable, accessible participation and the friendships formed through training and racing, rather than requiring every member to compete.
The club contributes four trail races to the KMR series and provides prizes and refreshments for participants. Charity activity is part of its identity: its website describes fundraising over the years and names Amy's House as a local cause it supports.
There are separate social, non-competing and full membership options, with England Athletics registration included in the latter. An online application is available. Contact the club's enquiry email or form to confirm suitable sessions and meeting places; the opened pages do not establish the directory's Wickersley street address as a training base.
