About Mallow TC

Mallow Triathlon Club was formed in 2016 in Mallow, County Cork, Ireland. Its founders were runners, cyclists and swimmers who had been meeting at races and decided to train together. A duathlon followed in the club’s first month, with an aquathlon at Ballyhass added the following year.

That local event-organising role has remained a feature of the club, whose Ballyhass programme has developed to include triathlon racing. Training and racing bring together the three disciplines, while summer open-water activity makes use of Ballyhass. The club is listed by Triathlon Ireland as an adult club, with no junior section in that directory.

Members are expected to contribute to club life, including helping to marshal events, and an elected committee handles its organisation. Newcomers can use the club email and joining information to discuss their experience and plans. Membership involves the appropriate Triathlon Ireland registration as well as joining the club; pool, open-water and other training arrangements should be confirmed for the current season.
