About Mako TC
Mako Tri Club is a swimming, cycling and running club serving Skerries and surrounding towns in County Dublin, Ireland. Triathlon Ireland’s directory places it in that area and provides a club enquiry contact. A precise training venue and current weekly timetable are not established by the sources reviewed here.
The club’s community role is visible in primary accounts beyond race results. Andrea Campbell represented Mako in the 2022 Making Waves Club Leadership Programme, which supported women developing governance, volunteer recruitment and club planning skills. Fingal County Council subsequently recognised David Flynn of Mako Triathlon Club among its sporting volunteers at the inaugural Fingal Sports Awards in January 2025.
People interested in joining should ask Mako about the appropriate membership and training group, including any swimming or cycling experience needed. Its Triathlon Ireland directory contact offers a starting point for finding the right session and meeting place. The leadership programme and volunteer award describe contributions at particular points in the club's history, rather than current committee appointments.
