About Lough Key Triathlon Club
Lough Key Triathlon Club connects the Roscommon and Leitrim area through swimming, cycling and running. Lough Key Forest Park at Boyle is the setting for its triathlon, including a shorter-swim option listed in Triathlon Ireland's 2026 beginner-race guide. That event venue is distinct from the places used for weekly training.
The club's March 2026 New-to-Tri programme launched in Carrick-on-Shannon and included coached swimming at Aura, with running and cycling locations shared on registration. This provides a useful example of its work with beginners, not a promise that the same course is still open. For the next intake or current club sessions, use the published Lough Key email or official Facebook page. No precise founding date or permanent clubhouse address has been established from the available primary sources.
