About London Frontrunners

London Frontrunners was formed in 1995 and is part of the International Front Runners network. Based across London, England, it welcomes LGBT+ runners and allies, from recreational joggers to competitive road and cross-country athletes. Triathlon, coaching and social activities broaden the programme beyond its weekly runs.

Runs take place in several parts of London, including Elephant and Castle, Regent's Park, Greenwich, Clapham, Hyde Park and Victoria Park. Newcomers are paired with a volunteer or similarly paced runner, rather than assigned to a fixed formal pace group. The separate long run requires enough endurance to complete a route that cannot readily be shortened.

Complete the new-runner pre-registration and contact the club before a first visit. A free introductory month precedes paid membership, and post-run meals provide a way to get to know people. England Athletics' September 2026 awards recognised coach and Pride Run 10K race director Dominic Addison as London's Unsung Hero, highlighting the volunteering behind the club.
