About Little Baddow Ridge Runners
Little Baddow Ridge Runners is a mixed-ability running club in Little Baddow near Chelmsford, Essex, England. The woods, trails and hills around Little Baddow and Danbury shape its predominantly off-road running. Road outings are also offered during autumn and winter for runners who prefer them in darker conditions.
Tuesday evenings usually provide several leader-led groups, with runs lasting around an hour. Sunday mornings tend towards a longer, sociable off-road outing. Members regroup rather than leave runners behind, and occasional interval sessions add a structured training option. Lights and high-visibility clothing are required for the darker road sessions.
Prospective members can try three runs without an obligation to join. The 2026–27 membership page offers adult and non-running social options and says that under-eighteen membership is not currently available. The membership email and general contact form provide ways to check suitability and meeting arrangements; any future junior provision should be confirmed rather than assumed.
