About Leicester Coritanian AC

Leicester Coritanian Athletic Club took its present identity in 1969, when predecessor club LCAT moved to the newly opened Saffron Lane athletics stadium. Saffron Lane remains its home, with coaching groups covering sprints, hurdles, jumps, throws and endurance, alongside road running and cross-country.

The club’s hall of fame includes European under-23 discus champion Eden Francis, Commonwealth triple jump silver medallist Laura Samuel and Olympic high jump finalist Diana Davies. New athletes can arrange a taster session before joining. Training is organised around event groups, so contacting the club first helps establish which coach and session will suit a newcomer.
