About Leeds City Athletic Club
Leeds City Athletic Club formed in 1967 through the merger of three local clubs, bringing together traditions that reached back into the nineteenth century. Today its base is the John Charles Centre for Sport.
The club offers coached training in track and field, cross-country, road and fell running, as well as wheelchair racing. Junior beginners can enter through the club’s development groups; adult membership is aimed at runners and athletes with experience who want to train and compete. Contact the club to find the appropriate group.
