About Leamington Athletics Academy
Leamington Athletics Academy introduces children and teenagers in Leamington Spa and Warwick to running, jumping and throwing. Training is based at Edmondscote Athletics Track, with groups progressing from games-based Minis sessions to more technical junior and teen athletics. The academy combines England Athletics’ Athletics365 approach with its own coaching curriculum.
Competition is encouraged when an athlete is ready, but taking part for enjoyment and fitness is welcome too. The seasonal programme includes indoor sportshall and cross-country as well as outdoor track and field. The club publishes opportunities for athletes with special educational needs and disabilities, including cerebral palsy. Families request a place through the online booking or waiting-list system and can contact the academy about a suitable group.
