Kings Heath Running Club, also known as the Lions, is an adult running club in Birmingham, West Midlands, England. Volunteer coaches and run leaders support members with different goals, from developing confidence over shorter distances to preparing for events. Membership is for people aged eighteen and over.
The weekly programme includes Tuesday runs of around four miles and longer Thursday groups, with track, hill and interval work also available. Summer sessions use the Avenue Road entrance to Kings Heath Park, while winter arrangements include Colmore Junior School. Members should book through RunTogether and check the chosen session's start rather than rely on a single year-round address.
Newcomers can register for a twenty-one-day trial before committing to membership. A separate thirteen-week Couch to 5K programme has its own charge and arrangements. The club also allows confidential requests for membership instalments, subject to committee agreement, providing a practical route to discuss participation costs with the membership team.
