About Kesgrave Kruisers
Kesgrave Kruisers began in early 2017 when Em Mortimer and Andrew Rooke brought runners together at Millennium Fields in Kesgrave, Suffolk, England. The group subsequently moved regular sessions to Kesgrave War Memorial Community Centre. A formal committee and constitution followed in December 2019, with England Athletics affiliation in 2022.
The club developed Couch to 5K and longer-distance improver courses alongside its Tuesday and Thursday training. Monthly track sessions and social runs add variety, while the session calendar identifies the start for each outing. Juniors can be included within an adult membership; families should check the relevant junior arrangements before attending.
In 2023 the Kruisers launched the Alan Brown 10K in memory of a club member. Volunteer effort has helped the event support local charities, and the race hosted Suffolk's county 10K championship in 2025. Newcomers can try up to three sessions before joining through the club website.
