About Idle AC
Idle AC is based in Idle, Bradford, West Yorkshire, England, and brings together road and off-road runners of different abilities. Its website describes an established club with more than twenty years of activity, although it does not give a precise founding year. Winter cross-country and social events sit alongside regular training.
Runners meet outside Hepworth and Idle Cricket Club on Westfield Lane on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Tuesday training is led by a qualified coach. The club invites prospective members to try a few Tuesday sessions before committing, and the contact form offers a way to ask about a suitable first visit.
Membership includes England Athletics affiliation, while a second-claim option is available for runners who also belong to another club. There is no weekly session charge listed on the reviewed page. The committee oversees club activity, and members can inspect the accounts at the annual meeting, reflecting a club run for its participating runners.
