About Hoad Hill Harriers
Hoad Hill Harriers was established in 1987 in Ulverston, Cumbria, England, on the northern side of Morecambe Bay. Its home is Ulverston Park Sports Club, formerly the Glaxo sports and social club, where members use the clubhouse and field. Social runners and regular racers share the club's adult programme.
Monday and Thursday evenings provide the main weekly meeting points, with group running and improvement sessions supported by club coaches. Members also arrange outings and race trips between club nights. The club welcomes adults over eighteen and encourages prospective members to speak to a coach or committee member, or contact the enquiries address before coming along.
The Harriers organise mile, five-kilometre and ten-kilometre events, including summer and Christmas races, and participate in the Mid Lancs Cross Country League.
