About Hillsborough & Rivelin RC

Hillsborough & Rivelin Running Club was formed in 2020 in the north of Sheffield, England. Road running, trails and the nearby hills all feature in its programme, which aims to help runners set realistic targets and develop the training habits to reach them. The club's Peak Performance groups organise additional sessions around shared goals and ability levels.

Hillsborough Park is a regular Monday meeting place, while other runs use the Rivelin area, southern Sheffield and the Peak District. The training page describes road groups, track work and strength sessions, but also contains older and conflicting timetable details. Members should use the latest club announcements to confirm the session and starting point, especially for seasonal headtorch and fell outings.

First- and second-claim membership options are available, with concessions described for students, older runners and people receiving income support. The membership secretary can explain the joining process and any England Athletics transfer needed when changing first-claim clubs. The club's road and fell championships offer a focus for runners who enjoy competition alongside their weekly training.
