About Hereford & County AC
Hereford & County Athletics Club was founded in 1962 and is based at the athletics track at Hereford Leisure Centre, Herefordshire, England. Its programme covers track and field, giving young athletes a route into the sport and supporting junior and senior competition through the club's teams.
Children can start from school year four. Development and junior coaching introduce the disciplines, with sportshall athletics providing another form of competition alongside outdoor league fixtures. Regular Tuesday and Thursday evening sessions use the Holmer Road facility; the club publishes seasonal adjustments to the timetable.
New athletes can book two trial sessions before deciding whether to join. Booking is essential, so families and adult applicants should contact the club email rather than simply turn up at the track. Members use Spond for communication, and membership information explains the application and England Athletics arrangements. The leisure centre is a training venue; its general reception is not a substitute for the athletics club's own enquiry contact.
