About Havant AC
Havant Athletic Club was founded in 1978 and serves athletes in the Havant and Waterlooville area of Hampshire, England. It accepts members from eight years old through to masters age groups. Track-and-field activity includes running, jumping, throwing and combined events, alongside cross-country, race walking and road running.
The main training base is Oaklands Roman Catholic School on Stakes Hill Road in Waterlooville, with Tuesday and Thursday sessions. Other days and venues depend on coach availability. The club also contributes to participation beyond its own membership through the Hayling 10 road race and the Lakeside 5K evening series.
New members can use the linked application system or ask questions through the club contact form. Membership and training-night charges are separate, and first- and second-claim arrangements are available. The fees page contains an old, incomplete table, so it is better to confirm the current subscription directly than rely on its figures. Beginners and experienced competitors should both arrange the appropriate coaching group before attending.
