About Hastings AC
Hastings Athletic Club has roots in the late 1960s and provides athletics in Hastings, East Sussex, England. It is a registered charity, run through its membership, trustees and committee, with a year-round programme at the track historically known as William Parker. Sprinting, distance running, throws, jumps and pole vault sit alongside cross-country and road events. The club welcomes new athletes and people returning to the sport, with family and individual membership options.
The published starting age is eight, and prospective members can request free trial sessions before joining. Coaches organise groups around the different events, while members compete in regional leagues and local competitions. The current contact page identifies the venue as Ark Alexandra Athletics Arena on Park Avenue, rather than the older Parkstone Road directory address. Use the club's enquiry form to discuss the right training group and confirm access arrangements before a first visit.
