About Harrow AC
Harrow Athletic Club was established in 1921 and is based at Bannister Sports Centre in Harrow Weald, north-west London, England. Track and field is central to its programme, alongside cross-country and road running. Athletes progress through junior, senior and masters competition, supported by coaches and volunteer officials.
The club’s coaching history includes decathlete Dean Macey, the 2006 Commonwealth Games champion and a two-time world championship medallist. That is a historical training association; it does not imply present membership. Harrow’s published programme gives athletes opportunities to compete in local and wider league athletics during the summer, with cross-country adding a winter focus.
New athletes should contact the club before attending so they can be directed to the appropriate group.
