About Harborough AC
Harborough Athletic Club was founded in 1984 in Market Harborough, Leicestershire, England, by international athlete Dick Callan, Pete Leach and Stewart Harrison. It has developed senior, masters and junior sections, with room for both competitive athletes and people whose main aim is to run regularly with others.
Road running, cross-country and track athletics all feature in club life. The Leicester Road Running League and East Midlands Grand Prix provide local racing opportunities, alongside relays and championship events. Senior Tuesday training is based at Market Harborough Rugby Union Football Club and includes structured sessions such as hills, intervals and sustained efforts.
Saturday training uses different seasonal settings, including the Corby track in summer and East Carlton Country Park in winter.
