About Hadleigh Hares AC
Hadleigh Hares Athletics Club has been part of running in Hadleigh, Suffolk, England, since 1984. It welcomes adults and juniors aged eight to sixteen, combining local training with club races and Suffolk winter cross-country. Its programme makes room for people taking their first steps as well as runners working towards a particular distance or performance goal.
Senior sessions distinguish beginner and novice running on Tuesdays from improver groups on Mondays and Thursdays. A monthly Wednesday visit to Northgate Athletics Track adds another setting, alongside strength-and-conditioning sessions and social runs. Members use the club app to see the current programme and indicate which sessions they will attend.
Adults can arrange a one-month trial before joining; junior applications follow a separate route and include session charges. The club's memorial to Mike Rosbrook recalls a member who joined in 2004 and helped coach a women's group on Tuesday evenings. His contribution is remembered as part of the club's history, not as a current coaching appointment. Newcomers should use the enquiry form to confirm the right group and meeting point.
